My name is Velma A. Knights. I am a born and bred New Yorker who has spent more than 35 years working in Tech Support and as an Analyst/Statistician in the NYC government. In preparing for retirement, I have discovered that financial health is just the first step in achieving a successful transition into this new phase of life. I want to be physically fit, healthy, calm, and prepared, while still taking on new adventures.

In developing R.E.A.L., I wanted to create a space for people just like me, people who want to maximize their retirement and treat it as a new beginning.  I have a passion for history, reading and learning new things.  Over the years I have participated in walkathons for charity, feeding the homeless, and as a facilitator at my church.

I hold an AAS degree in Medical Lab Technology and was a licensed Technologist before switching careers and obtaining a BBA in Business and Computers. I have attended workshops in both Business Opportunity (WIBO) and Momentum Education, an organization known for providing results in coaching and dynamic personal development. I am an ageless possibilitarian who passionately believes that wealth creation, legacy and stewardship continue in retirement.
